PRE PRIMARY CHILDRENS DAY CELEBRATION

Childrens Day was celebrated on 14th November for all Pre-Primary students at Mount Carmel School during regular school hours. Students were informed in advance to come dressed in casual outfits. The teachers warmly welcomed the children, who entered the beautifully decorated classrooms with great enthusiasm. A special assembly was conducted by the teachers, during which prayers were offered for the children’s wellbeing, success, and bright future. Various engaging activities such as games and songs were organised to add joy and excitement to the day. Teachers also explained the significance of Children’s Day and why it is observed across India. The students were informed that the day marks the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, and were told about his love for children, his values, his emphasis on education, and his contributions to the nation. As a part of the celebration, cake was distributed to all the children by the school. Childrens Day serves as a meaningful occasion to honour children’s talents, creativity, and innocence. The celebration successfully created moments of joy and lasting memories for the young learners.
