Mount Carmel School organized a Christmas Decoration Competition to celebrate the festive spirit and encourage creativity among students. The competition was conducted class-wise during the first two lectures of the school day. Different decoration activities were assigned to each standard to ensure age-appropriate participation. Standard I students made Santa hats, Standard II students prepared Christmas socks, Standard III students created Christmas wreaths, and Standard IV students decorated Christmas trees. Prior instructions were clearly given to all students. They were informed that no ready-made items were to be brought from home, and all decorations had to be prepared during the competition period itself. This helped promote originality and hands-on creativity. The decorations were judged based on neatness and creativity. Students participated enthusiastically and displayed great imagination and effort in their work. The judges’ decision was final, and three winners were selected from each class. After the competition, all the selected decorations were beautifully displayed and used for classroom decoration, adding a joyful and festive atmosphere to the school environment. The competition was a great success and helped students develop creativity, fine motor skills, and an appreciation for teamwork and festive traditions.
