The Rangotsav Award Distribution Ceremony was held at Mount Carmel School with great excitement and pride. The event celebrated the creative talents of students who participated in various Rangotsav competitions . Mount Carmel School achieved outstanding success at the national level in various categories, including Colouring, Handwriting, Collage Making, and Finger and Thumb Painting. The ceremony was graced by the Primary Principal, Father Nelson, who distributed the prizes to the winners. His presence encouraged and motivated the students to continue exploring their artistic abilities. During the event, the school’s Supervisor Tr. Brinal Crasto received the Art Teacher Award, an honour that recognized her dedication and guidance in nurturing creativity among the students. Students eagerly awaited the prize announcements. The 1st Prize winner Vian Gopan from Grade one, received a small bicycle with trophy. The winner Adele Rodrigues from grade two won fourth prize and received medal with colouring kit and winner Sujan Poojari from grade four won Excellent effort award and received piggy bank along with Bronze medal. This brought immense joy and applause from everyone present. Among all the participants, 4 students received Art Merit award and trophy, 72 students won gold medals, 34 secured silver medals, and 27 received bronze medals, appreciating their consistent efforts and creativity. In addition, consolation prizes were given to encourage participants who showed promise and enthusiasm. Furthermore, many students were selected for the second round of competition. The ceremony concluded with smiles, cheers, and a sense of achievement among the students.
